High-signal fields can be preselected, but every field and strategy remains visible and editable before a new copy is created.
MASK
Keep a dataset useful without keeping its identity. Select sensitive fields, generate stable pseudonyms locally, preserve repeated relationships and export a new structured copy with no raw-value report.
Keep the dataset useful.
Remove the identity.
Stable pseudonyms preserve joins and repeated relationships while replacing selected identifiers. Structure and primitive data types stay intact wherever the selected strategy permits.
Reuse the same MASK KEY when repeated identifiers must stay linkable across rows or files. The key never enters the safe report.
MASK does not claim that removing direct identifiers makes a dataset impossible to re-identify. Residual quasi-identifiers still require review.
Inspect before/after changes locally, export a safe rule report, or stage the masked result directly to BEAM without uploading it to 2XBR.
